Dioctyl adipate (DOA) is most often used as a PVC plasticizer. It imparts good low temperature flexibility, good heat stability, weathering properties, and good electrical properties. It is also compatible with nitrocellulose, ethylcellulose, high-butyryl cellulose acetate butyrate, and many synthetic rubbers.
