Application
Zinc Stearate is a versatile additive widely used as a release agent in rubber, polyurethane, and polyester processing, as well as in rigid and flexible PVC applications where it aids color retention during extrusion. In cosmetics, it serves as a lubricant and thickener to enhance product texture, while also functioning as a phase transfer catalyst in fat saponification. Zinc Stearate, made from high-quality tallow-derived fatty acids, provides medium density with excellent flow and blending properties, making it suitable for powdered metals, thermosets, and polyolefins. Its engineered particle size ensures consistent dispersion, improved lubrication, and reliable mold release, while also enhancing porosity in powdered metal applications for self-lubricating components. Additionally, it supports acid catalyst neutralization in polyolefins and delivers surface quality benefits in molding processes.
