Application
Zinc borate is flame retardant and smoke suppressant. It is widely used in applications such as rubber, plastic, wood, cable, and coatings. Zinc borate is compatible with polyamides, PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, epoxy, polyesters, elastomers and rubber based formulations. It can replace Antimony Trioxide when used with other inorganic flame retardants in both halogen-based and nonhalogenbased systems.
