Application
Undecanedioic is used in the production of corrosion inhibitors, which are extensively used for water treatment, pulp & paper, chemical facilities and other industrial facilities. When used in a mixture with other dibasic acids DDDA is especially effective as a ferrous corrosion inhibitor for metalworking fluids, engine coolants, metal cleaners, aqueous hydraulic fluids, and die cast release agents.
