Application
Trioctyl Trimellitate (TOTM) is a high molecular weight, branched plasticizer designed for PVC applications that demand extremely low volatility and superior migration resistance. Its stability and extraction resistance make it ideal for use in wire and cable insulation, automotive interiors, molded parts, seals, dishwasher gaskets, and even photograph storage. When combined with stabilizers, TOTM is particularly effective in electrical applications, while blending with other plasticizers such as DUP or DOTP can further optimize performance for specialized low-volatility needs.
