Application
Solid Epoxy Resin 1004 is a highly versatile epoxy resin solution designed for use in solvent-borne amine or polyamide-cured coatings, as well as a modifying resin in solvent-borne thermosetting acrylic systems. It offers easy handling, can be readily thinned or reduced with organic solvents, and provides a crystal-clear solution requiring no additional filtration. Compatible with PGME, a medium-evaporating, non-HAP solvent with low hazard and broad adaptability, this resin performs well in both air-dry and baking systems. Solid Epoxy Resin 1004 is commonly applied in automotive, can and coil, marine, and protective coatings, as well as in painting, molding, core making, adhesives, glues, plastic composites manufacturing, and powder coatings. When formulated with polyamine or polyamide curing agents, it produces chemically resistant, high-quality coatings and is also widely used in glass sizing applications.
