Application
Solid Acrylic Resin F44 is an acid-containing acrylic emulsion copolymer designed to enhance coating performance. When diluted with water and neutralized with a base, the emulsion particles swell significantly, resulting in a clarified, highly viscous solution. This resin is particularly effective at improving mid- to low-shear rate (Brookfield) viscosity, producing coatings with strong shear-thinning characteristics. It also provides excellent sag resistance and outstanding resistance to microbial enzymes, making it a reliable choice for high-performance coating formulations.
