Application
Palmitic Acid 98% is a saturated fatty acid with a 16-carbon backbone, naturally abundant in palm oil and other vegetable sources. It serves as a versatile ingredient across industries, commonly used in the production of soaps, as an emulsifier in cosmetics, and as an industrial mold release agent for plastics. Beyond these roles, palmitic acid and its sodium salts function as natural food additives and are applied in pharmaceuticals, animal feed, esters, rust inhibitors, and surfactants. Its broad utility also extends to transparent soaps, personal care products, lubricants, metallic soaps, coatings, adhesives, and as a key raw material in the manufacture of fatty alcohols and fatty amines.
