Application
Oleic Acid is a light-colored, single-distilled, multipurpose grade fatty acid suitable for applications where extremely light color is not essential. Despite being single distilled, it offers excellent resistance to rancidity, oxidation, and color changes during processing, with its low titer further enhancing versatility. Naturally occurring in animal and plant sources such as palm, coconut, rapeseed, soybean, sunflower seeds, and pine, Oleic Acid is classified as a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid. It finds wide use in food products, as a pharmaceutical excipient, and as an effective emollient and emulsifying agent in personal care and cosmetic formulations.
