Application
N-Cyclohexyl-2-Benzothiazolesufenamide (CBS) is a primary general-purpose accelerator for the rubber industry. CBS is a sulfenamide accelerator used in the vulcanization of natural and synthetic rubbers. This rubber accelerator provides good scorch safety and fast curing. When used in combination with other rubber accelerators it provides improvement in the mechanical properties of the final product. It is non-blooming, but slightly dis-coloring. It is commonly used in the manufacturing of tires, hoses, belts and cables.
