Application
Monoethanolamine LFG 85% is a low-freeze-grade blend formulated with water to reduce the freezing point for easier handling. Combining the properties of both amines and alcohols, ethanolamines are mildly alkaline, reacting with acids to form salts or soaps, while also being hygroscopic and capable of esterification. This versatility makes Monoethanolamine LFG 85% useful as a neutralizing agent for fatty acids and sulfonated surfactants in cosmetics, as well as for removing hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from natural gas and liquid gas streams.
