Application
Hydrogenated Tallow Fatty Acid (HTFA) is a highly refined macrocrystalline stearic acid derived from animal fats, produced through hydrogenation with a catalyst to achieve full saturation, followed by distillation. Distinguished by its extremely low impurity content and low iodine value, HTFA is the purest commercial form available. Its outstanding color stability, resistance to rancidity, low odor, and exceptional oxidation stability make it the prime choice for the highest quality end products. HTFA is widely used as an intermediate in lubricants and greases, as well as in the production of plastics, resins, and waxes.
