Application
Graphene Oxide is a form of oxygenated carbon arranged in a honeycomb structure in a 1 atom thick layer. Due to the presence of oxygen, this product is easily dispersible in water and other organic solvents, as well as in different matrices. This is a useful property for applications such as ceramic or polymer matrix formulations when trying to improve their electrical or mechanical properties. Graphene Oxide can be used in a wide variety of applications where increased strength or conductivity is required such as rubber, reinforced plastics, LCD screens, conductive films & coatings, capacitors and batteries, conductive inks, and textiles.
