Application
Glycol Ether TPM (Tripropylene Glycol Monomethyl Ether) is a slow-evaporating, hydrophilic solvent with excellent active solvency and coupling power, suitable for dissolving both polar and non-polar substances. Completely water-soluble, TPM is used in ballpoint pen and stamp pad inks, where it helps maintain rheological properties over time, as well as in oven cleaners, wax strippers, floor cleaners, hard surface cleaners, varnish removers, and solvent-based coatings. Its high boiling and flash points make it ideal for high-temperature cleaning products, while its extended system residence time and high polymer solvency make it a strong choice as a tailing solvent in high-solids coating systems.
