Application
Dimethyl Sebacate (DMS) is a versatile compound primarily used as an intermediate in the production of Hindered Amines Light Stabilizers (HALS), which are among the most effective light stabilizer additives available. DMS also serves as a plasticizer and softening agent for nitrocellulose, rubber, and vinyl resins, as well as for cellulosic and synthetic resins. In addition, it functions as a solvent for resins and rubbers and is used as a paint additive, supporting a wide range of industrial applications.
