Application
Diacetone Alcohol (DAA) is a high-purity, colorless, and odorless oxygenated solvent derived from acetone, characterized by its dual alcohol and ketone functionality. With a low evaporation rate, it is primarily used in paints and coatings such as coil coatings, wood varnishes, and architectural finishes. DAA is also an effective solvent for organic peroxides and finds additional applications in textile and leather treatment, chemical synthesis, and as a cleaning solvent.
