Application
APP VII is an inorganic, ammonium polyphosphate-based flame retardant suitable for use in plastic applications such as PVC, urethane, or polyolefin foam. APP VII is halogen-free, but works synergistically with halogen-based flame retardants. It is a suitable alternative for Antimony Trioxide in PVC, and it is compatible with plasticizers such as DOP and DOA, so it can be used in existing recipes without changing the ratio of other ingredients. APP VII can achieve standards for semi-nonflammable, UL-V0, and VTM-0 depending on the content when applied to urethane foam or polyolefin foam. It is white in color so it will not affect the color of the resin.
