Application
2-Propylheptanol (2-PH) is a branched oxo-alcohol intermediate used in the production of plasticizers, resins, processing solvents, and as a precursor to some detergents or surfactants. DPHP, a common plasticizer for PVC, is produced from 2-PH. Additionally, it can be used as a raw material in the production of acrylic resins.
