The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Ace (“Infrastructure Bill”) the was signed into law in November of 2021 is currently set to take effect July 1, 2022. This excise tax on 42 manufactured products and other products derived from these products used to fund the Hazardous Substance Response Trust Fund used by the US EPA is also referred to as the Superfund taxes.
