The meeting will be held at the Omni Nashville Hotel on Sunday, May 19th, at 8:00 AM to Thursday, May 23rd at 5:00 PM. ChemCeed will be at booth #212 at the Exhibition.
Attending a trade show can really work up an appetite, Mel and Katrina have picked out their top five choices for new restaurants to try while visiting!
Ole Red
Inspired by Opry member Blake Shelton’s No. 1 hit, Ole Red is the first stop that Mel and Katrina plan to make once they get to Nashville. This restaurant and live music venue is located at 300 Broadway, just a short walk from the Omni Nashville Hotel. Blake Shelton is known for his laid-back kind of style and that is just what you can expect from Ole Red, top that with great food and even better music and you are bound to have a great time!
Arnold’s Country Kitchen
Next on the list is Arnold’s Country Kitchen, a downtown mom and pop shop that serves the southern comfort food we all love. The food at Arnold’s has been made fresh daily from scratch since they opened back in 1982. Since they are only open on weekdays there will usually be a line out the door, but they keep it going and even serve some homemade pic to make it all worth it!
Merchants
Right on the corner of Broadway and 4th Avenue sits Merchants, a three-floor restaurant, boosting architecture from 1892. The first floor is a stylish bistro that is a great casual place for tourists and business men and women. The second floor is open for lunch and dinner with a more upscale vibe and menu. Both offer healthier gourmet options that can be a refresher from all the southern comfort food in Nashville.
Robert’s Western World
Right in the famous historic district of downtown you will find Robert’s Western World. This is the perfect place to find that true Nashville honky-tonk experience, with its old-school country music and rockabilly vibes. Although this is more of a bar than restaurant you can still score a fired bologna sandwich to complete the Music City experience this bar offers.
The Green Pheasant
For a non-American cuisine, The Green Pheasant is great stop! Here they combine southern flavors with traditional Asian ingredients sourced all the way from Japan. This is a great place to experience a different culture within the Music City!
Katrina and Mel plan to try each of the top five restaurants and give us their opinions when they get back. If you are attending STLE maybe you could try them too!
