Conference Wrap-Up: World Adhesive & Sealant (WAC) 2022

Last month, ChemCeed attended the 2022 World Adhesive & Sealant Conference (WAC) in Chicago, IL.  National Sales Representatives, Tom Allred & Myra Detienne, exhibited at the event and the high turnout was great.  After more than two years of virtual meetings and conferences, our team was excited to have the opportunity to meet face-to-face.

WAC features a wide array of attendees and exhibitors from all stages and areas of the adhesive and sealants industry.  While some conferences are technically or product focused, the offerings and participants at WAC are incredibly versatile; there truly is something for everyone in the industry.  Exhibitors ranged from small, boutique companies to large corporations, offering our team a great opportunity to visit with vendors, customers, and prospects from all types of business from all over the world.

We had an opportunity to meet with several customers face-to-face, meeting some in-person for the first time.  Our team was really grateful for the occasion to connect, building our relationships and allowing us to get a better understanding of their needs and how we can help.

While in Chicago, we took the opportunity to visit some of our warehouses and meet with the staff in-person.  The warehousing teams really make things happen and we are grateful to have such a quality group of people helping to serve our customers.  Our sales reps were highly impressed with the knowledge, responsible distribution processes, and drive for quality and safety at each facility.  We are deeply appreciative of the warehouse teams’ dedication and hard work; we really could not do what we do without them.

Last, but certainly not least, a visit to Chicago would not be complete without some delicious food!  Tom and Myra were able to indulge in a true Windy City tradition – stuffed deep-dish pizza at Giordano’s.  This was the proverbial icing on the cake of a great trip.  We look forward to returning to WAC in the future and offer our gratitude to the conference organizers for all their hard work.
