Another eventful ChemEdge this year and some of our team had the time to enjoy many things that Indianapolis had to offer. Offsite networking session provided the opportunity to utilize the many scooters throughout the city and NACD scheduled a golf networking session at Top Golf. Many of the topic were quite pertinent to ChemCeed focusing on best practices for chemical distributors and reminding us to utilize many of the resources available in helping protect ourselves against those attempting to purchase chemicals for nefarious reasons.
As usual, NACD was helpful in discussing topics in prevention of various predicaments, miscellaneous compliance issues and updates in some regulatory issues as well. One of highlights was hearing from speaker Chad Foster who talked about his experiences and history of growing up blind and graduating from Harvard Business School and accomplishing many achievements as a business executive in tech industry.
