Application
V-PLUS III is an inorganic, calcium phosphate-based flame retardant suitable for use in plastic applications such as PVC, urethane, or polyolefin foam. V-PLUS III is halogen-free, but works synergistically with halogen-based flame retardants. It is a suitable alternative for Antimony Trioxide in PVC, and it is compatible with plasticizers such as DOP and DOA, so it can be used in existing recipes without changing the ratio of other ingredients. V-PLUS III can achieve standards for semi-nonflammable, UL94 V-0, and VTM-0 depending on the content applied to the polymer. It is compatible with PVC, ABS, polyolefin, HIPS, Nylon, Polyester, and other engineered plastics. It is white in color so it will not affect the color of the resin.
