Application
Butyl Tallate is a monomeric tallate and a synthetic Group V base oil known for its good low-temperature flexibility. It is used in both natural and synthetic rubber, where it can retard the cure in polychloroprene formulations. With a high viscosity index, excellent thermal stability, low pour point, and high flash point, Butyl Tallate is well suited for a wide range of industrial lubricant applications. Its biodegradability and low toxicity also make it an ideal choice for environmentally friendly hydraulic fluids, greases, and metalworking fluids.
