Application
Hydrogenated Bisphenol A Epoxy Resin is a unique low-viscosity resin that offers improved performance over conventional Bisphenol A (BPA) type resins when properly formulated. It provides excellent UV and chemical resistance, making it ideal for exterior and high-solids coating applications, as well as baking finishes, clear wood coatings, and certain maintenance uses. This resin serves as a versatile building block for producing low-viscosity, higher molecular weight epoxide resins through reaction with BPA, or for creating low-viscosity esters via conventional esterification. Additionally, it can function as a reactive viscosity reducer and as a modifier to enhance color in BPA-based epoxy resins.
