Application
BB 1001 Titanium Butyl Phosphate is a titanium phosphate complex designed to significantly enhance the adhesion of solvent-based inks to a variety of plastics, particularly those used in food packaging and similar applications. Its alkoxy groups react with resins to promote adhesion and crosslinking, while chelating agents help stabilize the molecule. BB 1001 is transparent, making it ideal for modifying inks intended for high-gloss, clear-color printing. The product is acetylacetonate-free, low in odor and color, and also offers improved pigment dispersion and gloss in cured inks. It complies with the most stringent contemporary ECB registration standards and is exclusively for use in solvent-based inks.
