Application

Glycol Ether EB Acetate (Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether Acetate) is a high-boiling glycol ether ester primarily supplied as a urethane-grade solvent. Known for its slow evaporation rate, EB Acetate delivers excellent flow and leveling, making it particularly effective in high-bake coatings as well as air-dry systems such as epoxy coatings. Although it has limited water miscibility, its performance benefits—especially in achieving smooth, even finishes—make it a valuable component in demanding coating formulations.
