Application

Glycol Ether DM (Methyl Glycol Ether) is a very hydrophilic, slow-evaporating glycol ether with moderate evaporation rate and excellent active solvency properties, making it highly versatile across multiple industries. It is commonly used as a solvent for paints, coatings, wood stains, lacquers, textile dyes, and inks, and can also serve as a stabilizer in pesticide formulations. In the fuel industry, Glycol Ether DM functions as an anti-microbial and de-icing additive, with its primary use being as a de-icing additive for aviation fuel. Additionally, it is used in coalescing solvent blends where high polymer solvency and tailing activity are needed, supporting enhanced performance in specialized formulations.
