Application
Sodium Hydroxide, also known as caustic soda, is a powerful inorganic alkali available in solid form as white crystalline flakes. It is highly hygroscopic and dissolves readily in water, producing a strongly corrosive soda lye with the release of significant heat. Recognized as one of the strongest alkalis, sodium hydroxide is widely used in industrial and chemical applications requiring strong reactivity and solubility.
