Application
Undecanedioic Acid is a long-chain dicarboxylic acid widely used in the production of corrosion inhibitors for applications such as water treatment, pulp and paper processing, chemical plants, and other industrial operations. When blended with other dibasic acids, it is particularly effective as a ferrous corrosion inhibitor in metalworking fluids, engine coolants, metal cleaners, aqueous hydraulic fluids, and die-cast release agents. Beyond corrosion protection, Undecanedioic Acid also finds use in hot melt adhesives, high-performance polyamides, and nylon production.
