Application
Trioctyl Phosphate (TOF) is a phosphate ester plasticizer and moderately polar solvent valued for its excellent low-temperature flexibility and strong resistance to weathering. It is compatible with a wide range of polymers, including flexible PVC, PUR, NBR, SBR, and EPDM, making it suitable for diverse plastic and rubber applications. Beyond polymer use, TOF serves in the production of herbicides, pesticides, and flame retardants, as well as in hydrogen peroxide manufacturing. It is also employed as a carrier for pigments in plastic pigment pastes and as an additive for mineral oils.
