Application
Tributoxyethyl Phosphate (TBEP) is a clear, colorless, and highly stable phosphine oxide widely valued for its multifunctional performance. It serves as a plasticizer for PVC, chlorinated rubber, and nitriles, offering flame retardancy and flexibility at low temperatures. TBEP is also applied as a plasticizing and defoaming agent in acrylic-based systems, a knockdown defoamer in paints, textiles, and paper, and a halide-free flame retardant in polymer formulations. Additional uses include floor polish emulsions, latex paints, waxes, acrylonitrile rubber processing, and as an antiblock agent in cast polyurethanes.
