Application
Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP) is a general-purpose, phthalate-free orthophthalate plasticizer widely used in flexible PVC applications. As an environmentally safe, colorless, and viscous organic compound, DOTP offers excellent plasticizing properties and serves as a reliable phthalate replacement. It is suitable for a broad range of processing methods including extrusion, calendaring, injection molding, rotational molding, dip molding, and slush molding. Common applications include film and sheet products, gaskets, O-rings, automotive parts, coated fabrics, flooring, wall coverings, and wire and cable insulation, as well as in the formulation of coatings.
