Application
Azodicarbonamide is primarily used as a blowing agent in plastics, where it facilitates the formation of bubbles within the polymer structure, allowing the material to expand into a foam. This process also enables plastic polymers to flow more freely during manufacturing. In addition to its industrial use, Azodicarbonamide functions as a food additive, serving as both a flour bleaching agent and an improving agent.
