Position Description:
ChemCeed offers college students a chance to gain quality career experience in the global chemical distribution industry through our 12-week internship program. Interns will learn through daily, on-the-job interaction with colleagues in all departments of the company. The program consists of an introductory weekly rotation through our departments of operations & logistics, marketing, procurement, and sales. The latter portion of the internship will focus extensively on sales.
We are seeking someone who enthusiastic, tech-savvy and organized, looking to gain entry-level sales and operational experience with potential long-term employment. They must have excellent communication skills, be proficient with computers, and able to multi-task.
This is a part-time internship position to start that could lead to full-time employment. We are actively looking to expand our full-time, professional sales team and this internship is a great opportunity to learn about our business and the sales role prior to making a permanent career decision.
Internships are offered during spring semester, fall semester, and summer. Hours are flexible to allow for classes and other commitments. Limited spots are available, so applicants are encouraged to apply early.
Position Description:
As an Operations & Sales Intern, you will be responsible for working with a team and be responsible for the following:
- Assisting sales reps
- Customer service
- Operations and logistics
- Business communication
- Act as point of contact for internal and external clients
- Review documents for accuracy
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, shipping documents, etc.
- Record and verify data for orders, shipments, etc.

Requirements:
- Currently attending or starting junior or senior year in college
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage time
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated but with the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Comfortable with technology
- Minimum of 15 hours per week Monday – Friday (More hours are strongly encouraged.)
Pay & Benefits
