Application
Caprylic Acid is a saturated fatty acid used in the manufacture of lubricants, dyes, pesticides, disinfectants, and perfumes. Also known as Octanoic acid or C8 Fatty Acid, Caprylic Acid is found naturally in some milks, as well as in vegetable oils. The natural antimicrobial properties of Caprylic Acid make it useful as a sanitizer for food contact surfaces and equipment, especially meat processing plants, breweries & wineries.
