Application
Azodicarbonamide is used as a blowing agent in plastics. As a blowing agent, azodicarbonamide allows for plastic polymers to flow more freely. With the addition of azodicarbonamide into plastics, it allows for bubbles to be formed, allowing for the polymer to become a foam material. As a food additive, Azodicarbonamide serves as a flour bleaching agent and an improving agent.
